Description: 4 pages, each two-page fold-out measuring 7 x 8.75 inches, Boffres, Ardeche, July 19, 1916. In this letter about his correspondent's presentation of "Chant de la Cloche," D'Indy reports that the French are gaining the upper hand in the war, which has not prevented concerts from being held at Paris during the winter, even though there is a shortage of men. One horizontal fold; otherwise near fine.
