Comments: Port Said and its surrounding waters. Originally published in 1890 and distributed by sea chart dealer J.D. Potter. Surveyed in 1888, chart shows part of the Suez Canal, which opened in Egypt in 1869 to connect the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. Hand coloring depicts gas lit buoys and lighthouses. Soundings in feet.
