Comments: This almanac was published with 67 blank pages. They contain contemporary manuscript annotations by an itinerant minister from southeastern Pennsylvania. John Tobler, a Swiss immigrant to the United States, wrote several almanacs, including one on South Carolina. Tobler died in 1765. His almanacs continued to be published after 1765 using his astronomical calculations. This almanac was first published for the year, 1754. Evans 8269. Drake 9806.

Dear Sir, For three days I received Reynard the Fox (goethe, Arnold). The package was in good order and the book in perfect health. It fits very well my Reynard (and fable) collection. Thanks. - Wim G.
