Description: 2 pages (front and back), 10 x 8 inches, no place, March 28, no year, circa 1800. Written to his father Lewis Morris -- a signer of the Declaration of Independence -- and mentioning uncle Gouvernier Morris's new baby being christened. Several folds, creases, chips, and tears; remnant of red wax seal. Fragile but good condition.

Comments: Richard Morris was a Commodore of the U.S. Navy.
