Description: 1 page on lined paper, 9.5 x 8 inches, Buffalo, New York, November 4, 1835. Fillmore wrote this letter as an attorney and member of Congress, in part: "...Please to search for judgments and decrees in equity against John J. Harrington for the last few years and send us your certificate as to those if any which are unsatisfied of Record..." The back of this letter contains the free frank with two additional signatures by Fillmore. Natural folds; even toning; small paper loss in the right margin from the wax seal tear (seal intact). Very good(-) condition.

Comments: Fillmore, who succeeded to the presidency upon the death of Zachary Taylor, was the 13th President of the United States.
