Description: 1 page, 8.75 x 6.75 inches, written in Denver on White House letterhead, September 2, 1955 -- a response to a letter from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Baily Circus manager John Ringling North, regarding problems confronting production among American farmers, in part: "...We are, of course deeply concerned with the problems confronting the farm areas where the income is down...We have been studying ways and means to meet the situation in a positive manner...I will pass your suggestion along..." Two punch holes at the top; several horizontal folds. Very good condition.

I want to thank you for your excellent service. I telephoned to inquire about the availability of a book this past Wednesday morning. Michele informed me it was available and took my order at about 11 AM EST. The next day when I got home from work, I was astounded to find that the book had been delivered in the early afternoon -- less than 30 hours after the order. Now, I know that UPS deserves some credit, but such fast delivery would not have occurred if Michele (and perhaps others) had not worked extremely efficiently.
