Exceptional black-and-white photograph signed in full by the heavyweight boxing champion, taken while serving in the Pacific during World War II. This photo features "Commander" Tunney seated at the front lines of Bougainville surrounded by his platoon, talking on the phone. Includes a "U.S. Army Photograph" stamp in blue ink on the back. Near fine.
