Description: 1 page, 4 x 7 inches, written on the back of a letter fragment, no place, no date, circa 1778. Signed "Ph. Schuyler" for medical equipment, indicating that the payment is for surgical supplies. Small printed biography of Schuyler mounted below the signature; several folds and creases. Very good(-) condition.

Comments: Major-General in George Washington's army who planned the invasion of Canada in 1775 and later served as New York's first Senator.
