Description: 1 page, 11 x 8.5 inches, no place, no date, circa 1950. This touching poem titled "A Sister Writes" deals with the memories of a brother who died in a war, in part: "...But all that made him real cannot be stilled, Confined beneath palm-trees and alien waves. No, in the farm-yard dawn he can be seen: A blithe, thin hero striding through old chores, The whistle fainter now, yet softly keen, Retrieved beyond all sufferings and wars." Slight tears on right edge; very good(-) condition.

Dear Argosy, I just finished watching TV. Now I know there is the old books store called Argosy in Manhattan, New York. I've been looking for first edition of Little Women written by Louisa May Alcott. Do you have it? If you do please let me know. - Itoko Kadooka
