Comments: One of 250 copies on large paper. A splendidly extra-illustrated copy, in which various portraits of the actress and mistress of Charles II are combined with those of literary, royal and other celebrities of 17th and 18th century England. Among the 134 extra illustrations, most from late 18th and early 19th century, are many in proof state and some rare portraits, including mezzotints of James II and David Garrick.

I've been looking for another copy of "West of the Indus" for nearly twenty years (I know, it's such a cultural wasteland out here in the provinces), and I never expected to find one with a dust jacket.
