Description: 30 plates colored by hand in gouache. Thin folio, cloth backed flexible boards; slipcase very worn. Milan: Amilcare Pizzi, n.d. [ca. 1930]. Limited Edition.

Comments: The brilliantly colored plates represent suggested color ratios for fabric prints inspired by paintings of artists such as Bonnard, Braque, Chagall, De Chirico, Derain, Dufy, Gauguin, etc. which are reproduced in small mounted vignettes opposite each plate. Fine copy, in a worn slipcase, of an uncommon book.

To all the members of the stuff -- a great thank you for help and assistance in all periods of a busy days and weekends. And to the good young Argosy, a great thank you for being there back in the 1970's & 1980! - V. Kharets
