Very thick short 4to, contemporary calf with elaborate blind-tooled covers and gilt-lettered spine (well-worn; joints and hinges neatly repaired but still quite attractive; light dampstaining in fore-edge margins of some pages). Amstelodami: Apud Ludovicum & Danielem Elzevirios, 1655. Text in Latin. A very nice copy of this early book on Roman Law.
