Description: 2 pages (front and back), 8.25 x 5.25 inches, Paris, no date, circa 1935. Written in French and signed "Yvette" by the famed Moulin Rouge headliner and favorite subject of artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, inviting a friend to a dinner party, in part: "...J'apprends que vous avez de 6 a 7 un concert, alors des que vous en serez liberee, on vous enfermera chez nous sure une bonne chaise longue pour vous repose avant le diner..." Includes a charming amendment by Guilbert, also signed "Yvette," who discovered this friend had previous plans. Several folds and creases; slightly glue-stained along the left edge. Good condition.
