Description: Extra engraved title page, and one other plate bound at front. xxix, [3], 328pp. 8vo, handsomely bound in 18th century 3/4 burgundy morocoo over marbled boards with gilt-stamped spine; marbled endpapers, t.e.g. (binding is rubbed; joints cracked and repaired; ink marginalia on several pages, some of which has been eradicated). Cambridge: Printed by B. Flower, for the Editor... 1794.

Comments: Includes the 4pp "Monody on the Death of Chatterton" by Coleridge - his first to be published in book form. "By internal and external evidence alike (Thomas) Chatterton is now known to have been the one sole author of these productions (this work)." DNB IV, p. 151. Lowndes III, p. 2139.
