Handsomely bound in contemporary brown polished calf; blind-stamped panels and gilt-stamped spines with black leather labels; marbled endpapers and page edges (leather is rubbed but sound and attractive; one plate loose; minimal scattered foxing). I couldn't believe how fast you sent me this wonderful item! I didn't expect it to have anything on children's cookery (my focus), but because Juliet Corson is SO important, I bought it.
