Description: 1 page, 11 x 8.5 inches, Los Angeles, February, 1965. Extremely rare letter signed "Phillip" by the legendary and reclusive music producer. Written to his business partner regarding a film project (The T.A.M.I. Show), typed entirely in capital letters, in part: "...I DID NOT DECIDE WITH JOEL (Steinberger) IF STEWART (Stern) WAS TO BEGIN WRITING THE SCREENPLAY BECAUSE I DO NOT CARE. THE ONLY PROTECTION I WANT IS THAT, SHOULD I GET THE DEAL, AND HE IS TO RECEIVE PAYMENT, HE HAS TO BE AVAILABLE TO WRITE IT..." With handwritten corrections and two holes punched in top margin; torn through to the edge. Accompanied by an original, sealed 1964 album "Back to Back" by The Righteous Brothers, produced by Phil Spector, and an original Philles Records, Inc. 45 rpm "He's Sure the Boy I Love" by the Crystals. The letter is in very good(-) condition; the records are in fine condition.

Thank you for your kind response. As it turns out, I was able to visit the Argosy on Tuesday. In fact, I arrived shortly after opening and stayed most of the morning, making a number of purchases. I notice that you wrote to me a 10:34 AM, meaning that I was in the store when you sent me an email. One of life's many coincidences... Again, many thanks for your courteous response. Best regards, until my next visit! - Phillip R.
