Description: 1 page, 6.75 x 5.5 inches, Camp Joyland, Lake Placid, New York, New York, September 7, 1909. Written on stationery with embossed silver letters with "twig" details, in part: "...I regret exceedingly that my compositions are so poorly reproduced upon the Victor and Columbia records as you describe. I cannot, however, make any records for these concerns as I am under and exclusive contract with the Edison Company..." Small tear along one of the horizontal folds; uneven toning around the edges. Very good(-) condition.

Comments: Composer best known for his operetta "Naughty Marietta."
