Description: Autographed manuscript signed, an original 14-line sonnet to poet Leonora (Speyer) on verso of "The Poetry Society of America" letterhead, of which Hillyer was president. 1 page, 4to, 11 x 8.5 inches, no place, November 7, 1949, in part: "But for the calendar we could not tell/The passing of Time's footsteps in the garden." Horizontal folds; slight fading on verso. Very good(-) condition.
