In this letter, Harriman thanks the recipient for making the State Convention a success and details ways to rally support for the Democratic campaign in the upcoming election. In large part: "Our State Convention ended on a wonderful note of party unity and dedication to victory...Since we adjourned, I have been working closely with George DeLuca, Frank Roosevelt, Arthur Levitt, and our State Committee and its staff. We will all do our utmost to plan and carry out a campaign that will justify the Convention's confidence in us...I feel strongly that the people of New York are with us in their hearts and minds; our job is to help them express their views at the polls."
