Description: 12.25 x 8.5 inches, no place, 1924. This sepia-toned photo shows Swanson seated on a sofa in a flowing evening gown and flapper headdress, holding a fan in her lap. Boldly inscribed with excellent contrast: "To Storey, Sincerely Gloria Swanson, 1924." Also signed in grease pencil by the photographer Russell Ball, whose stamp appears on the back. Chip on the upper right corner, small tear on the right edge, and slight staining. Very good(-) condition.
